Impact your
business potential.
Impact another woman-based business.
Impact your community.
Are you looking for a
way to grow your business, expand your client base and
learn new venues to reach your professional goal? If you
know of a small handful of motivated professional women,
may I urge you to consider starting your own Blab Chapter.
Why start a Blab
group?
Instead of searching for the right networking group for
you, start one of your own. Word of mouth is powerful
(hence our name, Blab!). The Blab Co-Founders were amazed
at how three women gathered a group of 19 women for their
first meeting, all from asking a few friends to try us
out.
Blab’s Mission
Statement
Blab is founded on the principals of having a fun women-networking
group! Our mission is to bring together a group of women
who rely on referrals to grow their businesses. Blab knows
the power of a group of women, determined, fun, women,
who want to make a difference in each other's lives. We
celebrate your accomplishments and encourage women to
have fun and help each other become successful through
concentrated networking.
What does a Blab
group look like?
An all women’s group of entrepreneurs, independent
consultants and business owners. Each Blab group meets
weekly to encourage, support and advance each other’s
business by sharing referrals, tips and experiences.
Each group will cap off at 20 members to keep the relationships
tight and gain momentum in a group effort.
In order for each member to get the most referrals out
of our group, Blab allows one member per business or business
type.
What makes a Blab
group unique? Small
group numbers. No
referral requirements. Low
annual membership fee. High
standards of business ethics and professionalism The
ability to advance your personal marketing strategy through
the power of practicing and improving your in-person presentation
on a regular basis.

The total fee for chartering a new Blab group is $270,
due with the Charter Agreement. This chartering fee includes
up to 3 Leader Memberships per year (Value: $25 each)

What kind of expenses
will I accrue at each workshop?
There should be no expenses incurred at your workshops.

space. You may purchase a BLAB MEETS HERE sign ($30) and
business cards (250/$15). Other than that, nothing.

membership fees.
Who leads the
Blab group?
It only takes ONE person to step up. However, we encourage
you to have at least one other Co-Leader to assist with
leadership responsibilities.
Establish a workshop location and maintain good report
with the owners. If your location is no longer available,
you must coordinate a new location, according to the location
requirements of Blab.
The leader maintains a sign-in sheet for every meeting
for follow up and tracking purposes.
The leader is responsible to guide the workshops according
to the Blab Workshop Blueprint.

Where are Blab
Workshops held? Blab leaders are given the challenge of locating
a place that is free from distractions and costs. A place
that can hold 20 plus people with tables available, preferably.
Blab will provide leaders with assistance to locate such
places in their area. A few suggestions include:
A Restaurant not open to the public at the time of the
workshop - such as a pizza place not open on Mondays.
A church - plenty of classrooms available.
A School - contact a public school office for available
times and rooms
A store or office - such as a conference room of an attorney
or bank.
A Blab Member hosted location - their store or office.
This portion of the start up can be
a challenge, but we are here to help.
How do I get started? Establish
your workshop location (see limitations)
Must not be held in a public place that is open for business
(ie. Restaurant, Coffee Shop, etc.) unless it is closed
off from traffic or other distractions (separate room).
Must not be held in a residential home.
Optional Should not cost to use the facility.
